Updates from the motorsport world of AAT. Scroll down to see older posts.

We have just stopped trading with one of our race suit manufacturers because, despite an excellent product, their service was verging on awful at times ~ just recently being a prime example!

Rather than give them the benefit of the doubt as we did for some of 2006 and 2007 we have had to cease using them as they dire performance has been exceptionally detrimental to AAT.

Rest assured we are currently scouring the globe for one or more new suppliers who can offer the excellent quality we require, without errors and delays ~ all at a reasonable cost.

Our new range of suits will debut through AAT supported team Erik West Rallying as soon as possible.

For those who find www.advancedautosport.com too difficult to type there’s a new web address for us:~ www.aat.gb.com Same site just a few less letters to type in!

As of Monday the 4th February all AAT kart and race suits will have revised AAT logos on them. As they don’t cost customers any money it won’t have an impact on prices, they’ll just look a little different.

As we did last year we’re offering contenders in the County Saab Scottish Rally Championship a discount on all race suits purchased from us. not only that we are also happy to apply the same discount to Monit Trip Meters too. Please contact your championship organiser for more details.

Despite not having a stand at Autosport International we had a very successful show! Look out for plenty more AAT logos on circuits and stages across the UK and Ireland this year. With an embroidery and made-to-measure service second to none it really is no great surprise that more and more teams are switching to AAT race wear.

MOMO will be displaying their new range of steering wheels, seats, karting wear and race wear on Stand 9440, Hall 9 of this week’s Autosport International show {link}.

AAT supply the complete MOMO product range, much of it from stock so if you see items you like don’t hesitate to contact us!

Alan will be visitng Autosport International this Friday. He’s a couple of appointment slots free if anyone wants to meet up and talk race wear or Monit trip meters. E-mail him in advance please.

We have decided that we will NOT have our traditional stand at Autosport International in 2008. Not having our full compliment of staff available makes it impossible to set-up and look after a stand properly. Whilst we enjoy meeting old and new customers we just can’t cover a stand well enough to do AAT and our suppliers justice.

As last year our Motorsport Portfolio will be ready for the show but this time it will be available as a PDF file by e-mail or post directly from us.

The new Monit prices are as follows:~

Monit TC100 £295.00 plus VAT

Monit TC200 (including fuel display) £395.00 + VAT

Window film.

As per MSA regulation 37.2.6. (2009 onwards) “…… Side windows if of glass must be of laminated or toughened glass and if of toughened glass must be coated on the inside with a clear transparent safety film.”

We have the solution! FIA approved film sheets are available from us in two sizes:~ 400cm x 51cm @ £64.00 inc VAT or 230cm x 51cm @ £38.00 inc VAT.
